Justice 40rward

For environmental justice communities – communities of color and of lower-income communities – decades of unfair policies have put greater amounts of toxic pollution in their backyards and these communities are also at higher risk from the impacts of extreme disasters due to climate change. When we work together to address this by putting policies like Justice40 investments into action, we can move towards everyone having access to clean air and water in the places they live, work, learn, and pray.

Learn more about 'Stolen Futures' a visualization of the importance of these investments and the vision for Justice40, as well as accountability to demand justice is served for funds owed. This effort and campaign has evolved in partnership with WE ACT and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) to uplift the stories of communities doing essential work, and to demonstrate the impacts of federal funding clawbacks.
